The interesting blue Disthene beads has beautiful shinning in lighter blue, the light looks a bit like cat eye gemstone. The surface of beads are not so smooth compare to other beads, because of the nature of the stone. The bead size is around 9.8-12.5mm, the core size is around 3.6mm. Weight of the bead is around 2.5 grams. It ONLY fits Ampearlbeads, Trollbeads and other similar small size chain and bracelets, but not suitable for Pandora threaded bracelets.
The Premium Disthene beads in this link normally have a deeper blue colour than the Good Disthene beads.
